Mr Frank Solomon - Managing Director

  • Has a wide background in teaching at all levels. Following a ten-year period as the Principal of two New Zealand secondary schools, (Waiheke High School and Rotorua Lakes High School), he resigned to carry out contracts for the Ministry of Education and Auckland University of Technology.
  • In 1996 he set up courses for long term unemployed, which had as their focus Literacy, Numeracy and Self Development.
  • Frank is the Chairman of Te Manuka (a group of twenty eight Auckland Maori Providers)
  • In August 2002 he completed an eight-year term on the Board of Te Mangai Paho, the Government Funding Agency for Maori Broadcasting.
  • Chairman of the Runanga – Manukau Institute of Technology for 4 years.
  • Appointed “Te Amorangi” (Spiritual Leader) for Manukau Institute of Technology - 2005

Mrs Judy Solomon - Curriculum Director

  • Has an extensive background of teaching at all levels, with a specific focus on literacy development and English for Speakers of Other Languages.
  • She has particular expertise in Learning Styles and Accelerated Learning techniques.
  • She established Learning Centres in two secondary schools (Rotorua Lakes High School and St Stephens) to cater for the individual needs of students.
  • Students at St Stephens School achieved exceptional results in Bursary English.
  • Has been part of the Implementation Group for the Adult Literacy Achievement Framework (ALAF)

Ms Kiri Solomon – Projects Director

  • She has recently returned from living overseas, and brings extensive experience from the public sector and youth services provision in both Australia and the United Kingdom
  • Her previous roles have all included aspects of community development, financial responsibility and creating partnerships between the public sector and third sector organisations

Ms Jenny Solomon – Operations Director

(B.M.S. Hons, Diploma Training & Assessment Systems, Cert V in Adult Training, Workplace Assessment and Training Cert IV)

  • Has returned from Sydney, Australia where she worked for Westpac for four years. She managed the Westpac Registered Training Organisation which designed, implemented and monitored National Qualifications (based on vocational education) for a target audience of 12 000 including Call Centres, Branch Banking and Financial Planners and Advisors.
  • Jenny’s role also included strategic development, risk aversion and designing financial processes as well as successfully conducting Federal and State government accreditation audits.
  • She is a qualified workplace assessor and trainer.
  • She has recently been tutoring in Small Business Management.
