East Auckland CoursesSolomon Group are recognised as experts in the delivery of Literacy, Numeracy and Self Development programmes. All courses offer a Tutor and a Teacher Aide in order to provide individual support for each student’s specific areas of need. Each campus also offers the support of a full time Student Liaison who is available to help with social services, student placement, post-placement support and any other needs (such as Work and Income). Manukau Institute of Technology - Foundation Level 3![]() This MIT course is a bridging programme for students who want to enter Tertiary education or the workforce but lack the appropriate qualifications. It provides an excellent and supportive pathway into Diploma and Degree courses and allows students to access all benefits provided to an MIT student. Pathways (He Ara) - Foundation Levels 1 & 2![]() This course is for Work and Income clients who: need to improve their Literacy, Numeracy and Self Confidence so that they can move into further training, or employment. It focuses on the identification of client needs (social and educational) and provides individual support in order to address them. Pre-Literate ESOL![]() This programme is available free to any New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident. It runs for 12 hours a week at our Panmure Campus and is targeted to Migrants who lack basic English skills and confidence to participate in their communities and the workplace. Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 participants who have the support of a Tutor and Teacher Aide. This course runs from Tuesday to Friday each week and participants have the opportunity to staircase into higher levels of training or employment.
