Admon - MIT Foundation The Solomon Group Management and Tutors encouraged me to keep studying to achieve my goals. They created the pathway and Foundation to my success and, as of June 2007, I am the proud recipient of the New Zealand Diploma in Business. I thank all at Solomon Group for their continued support and interest – now I am sending my daughter to speak with them.
Mary – MIT Foundation Solomon Group is like a big whanau which I loved. Not only do you meet wonderful staff, you also meet beautiful students from all walks of life and ethnicities. I am currently doing my first year in the Bachelor of Education Degree.
Natalia – Pathways He Ara During 2006 – 2007 I learnt so much information about New Zealand history, Maori History, Maori customs and many other things. It became possible for me to attend Solomon Group for my education. We have learnt a little grammar there too. Because of the English I have learnt at Solomon Group education I am now feeling much better in New Zealand. Before I came to the school I was too shy to speak using my broken English language. Now I feel part of New Zealand’s population. When I speak using the English language, I make a lot of mistakes, but it is not too bad if people understand me. At school I have learnt to make conversations with other students and we were able to understand each other very well. Our tutors were so patient with us and helped us many times. They helped us not just with our school problems; we had the help even with our home problems. I say a great thank you to this school administration and our tutors for this hard job that they do.
Te Aroha - Pathways He Ara I feel this is the best course I have attended. Being at Solomon Group has truly let me open up more to people. The tutors are amazingly wonderful and have the utmost respect and support for their students. I will leave here a proud Solomon Group student who will pass on knowledge and skills that I have learnt whilst being here.
Annabelle - Pathways He Ara
Starting out on that first day, I was nothing but some shapeless clay, too scared to hold my head up high and never thought I could reach the sky. But like a rose, I’ve grown and bloomed in the garden of the Pathways Room. Solomon Group is my home sweet home, and here I know I'll never be alone. Roiti – Pathways He Ara I started with Solomon Group on the 12 Hour Literacy Support course. My first day I was late - I was nervous and I really didn't want to come at all, but I did. As this course was finishing I was asked if I'd like to continue my studies. I said 'Of course' because I hadn't finished High School. That always annoyed me, not finishing school. But now I have been offered the opportunity to complete what I hadn't accomplished. I was so happy to be in Pathways. I made a lot of new friends from different countries. My tutors have helped, cared, comforted me in everything I do. Now I can't wait to go into MIT. Solomon Group has made many people happy and has given them chances. I have never been so overwhelmed and loved from a Training Provider. Solomon Group is my second family.
Mikaele - Nightclass I attended Solomon Group in 2005. That was two years ago. Every time I came through the front door I always felt welcome, but I was worried that they might say to me there is no room. I just want to say thank you very, very much. There is more to write down but I don’t know what to say. I will never give up if it takes me years to know about reading, spelling and writing. More like it will take me a life time. Ruta - MIT Foundation
It's me, Ruta, remember me?? Hehe well just writing to thank all of you for helping me in the past, because now I am about to start my National Diploma in Business!!! Yay! And I have all of you at the Solomon Group (also known as my Maori family) to thank for helping me get here. So love you all for that.. Love you and miss you all! Joshua - MIT Foundation
Solomon Group has changed my life. My goals that I wrote down in class have all been achieved through the education from my tutors and now I'm living the life I wanted working as a chef.
