What you will learn:

Holistic wellbeing (whare tapa whā)
New Zealand health and wellbeing sector legislation, regulations and codes
Cultural competency and effective communication skills
Recognise and respond to changing needs and issues in a health and wellbeing setting including signs of vulnerability and abuse
Provide person-centred health and wellbeing support to maximise a person’s independence

What you will get:

New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 3 upon completion. 70 NZQA Credits.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must be 16 years or older
Must have basic English skills

Must have basic computer skills
Access to a devices (such as laptop or desktop and WIFI)
Students must declare if they have any criminal record or any disability that may affect their learning.

Must reside in Auckland
Entry interview to ensure you have the ability to complete a level 3 programme. Interview will include a discussion regarding relevant experience in the health & wellbeing sectors.
