Let us help you prepare for and move into employment in just eight weeks.

In this course, you’ll work on employment skills, self-development, confidence, self-esteem and motivation. We’ll help you overcome anything that may prevent you from getting a job.

This course will help you get better at reading, writing and working with numbers. You’ll also have help with digital, financial, emotional, and workplace literacy.

How it works

What we do for you:

Your study will be based on what you need to get a job, or the kind of job you’d like to have.

You will:

  • Create your own CV
  • Get your cover letters sorted
  • Search for jobs tips and support

  • Practise applying for jobs

  • Practise all types of interviews (including video)

  • Apply for jobs online using Solomon Group resources and support
Licence support:

We can also support you in getting the relevant employment licences required to secure that job.

These may include:

  • Building and construction access (Site Safe, civil passport, ConstructSafe, Go Safe, elevating work platforms)

  • Retail and hospitality (basic food hygiene, LCQ)

  • Security (COA / unit standards)

  • Warehousing and logistics (forklift, F endorsement, dangerous goods)

Eligibility:

  • You must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Be committed to regular attendance
